Rumor Has It. On Monday,Instinct Magazine published and then pulled down a story about the closure of America’s oldest LGBT magazine: When asked if the report was false and if The Advocate or Here Media, the magazine’s parent company, prompted the Instinct Magazine article’s removal, Here Media’s Mark Umbach told BuzzFeed, “Yes to both questions, as the report was patently false.” [more] For now, it seems The Advocate remains alive and well.
